Kindness Rocks Project

When Mrs. Nadine Scott, retired elementary teacher from Hoosick Falls Central School, was vacationing on Cape Code she found the Kindness Rocks Project, which she discovered is world wide. Now,  Mrs. Scott is going to bring the project to Hoosick Falls. On August 22 at 3 pm and August 23 at 4 pm at Cheney Library we will be decorating rocks to place in our Kindness Rocks Garden. The rocks have already been prepared with a base coat and you paint on a picture or a favorite saying with felt tip colored markers. Then we will seal them and put them in the garden of Cheney Library.

“The Kindness Rocks Project: Take one when you need one. Share one with a friend who needs some inspiration. Leave one for another. One message at just the right moment can change your whole day, outlook, life.”
Please call 518-686-9401 to sign-up for this event so that we have  enough rocks painted.

We can become a part of this world-wide project.
