Saturday Sept. 28, 9 AM – 1 PM: Peppertree Pet Adoption

Cheney Library and Peppertree Rescue will be holding a pet adoption event at the library on Saturday, September 28 from 9 AM – 1 PM.

Peppertree is a nonprofit corporation that finds homes for dogs in need that have the character and temperament commonly associated with the friendly and peaceful nature of Golden Retrievers. While they are a recognized Golden Retriever Rescue and member of the Golden Retriever Club of America National Rescue Committee, they do not focus on Goldens alone – they are an all breed rescue dedicated to finding good dogs good homes, regardless of breed, age, size or health. Sept. 19, 4:00 – 5:30 – Ukulele Jam!

After receiving such a positive response to our August event, we have planned another ukulele jam with Henry Simpatico for this Thursday! All ages and skill levels are welcome, and a free lesson will be provided for beginners. Please join in and make some music with us!

If you do not have your own ukulele, 4 are available for use. Please email or call (518) 686-9401 to reserve an instrument.
