Following the announcement of confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Albany County, Cheney Library is suspending all programming and public meetings, effective immediately and until further notice. As of now, the library is still open to patrons.

We do not take this decision lightly. Our programming is a source of joy for staff and patrons alike, and our rooms for community groups are regularly utilized. This action is a necessary step during extraordinary times to effectively slow the spread of this pandemic. We have been closely monitoring the evolving situation, and will continue to do so.
