With COVID-19 rates consistently rising in our area and our dedication to providing safe library services to our patrons, Cheney Library has decided to return to curbside services only beginning Wednesday, December 9, 2020. This decision was made based on local and state COVID-19 statistics, as well as information from the library system level. We will continue to provide updates via email and on our website.
Please note:
- Our interlibrary loan service is still active. This means patrons can continue requesting books from other libraries.
- Our WiFi will remain active and will be accessible 24/7 from our parking area.
- We will continue to offer take-home activities and virtual programs.
- Returns will be accepted via book drop only.
- We will not be accepting book donations at this time.
Thank you for your support and understanding. If you have any questions or concerns, please email Library Director Sara Yetto at [email protected].
In addition to print books, there are web-based resources available for patrons. Cheney Library offers eBooks, eMagazines, audiobooks, and more through OverDrive. Upper Hudson Library System also runs a virtual book club on Facebook which is open to all member library patrons. Book titles change each month and discussion is held virtually. All you need to participate is a Facebook account.
