Beginning Tuesday, June 1, Cheney Library will return to its regular open hours. These hours are:

Monday: 1 PM – 8 PM
Tuesday: 10 AM – 5 PM
Wednesday: 1 PM – 8 PM
Thursday: 10 AM – 8 PM
Friday: 11 AM – 5 PM
Saturday: 9 AM – 1 PM
Sunday: Closed

The following guidelines are currently still in place in order to ensure patron and staff safety within the library:

• A mask must be worn at all times on library premises
• Social distancing practices will be enforced
• Patron visits will be limited to 20 minutes (transaction only)
• 3 public computers will be available for patron use
• Librarians will facilitate copy/fax services. If you need to fax or make photocopies, please ask a librarian for assistance
• Returns will be accepted via book drop only. All materials will be quarantined for 3 days before they are checked in
• There will be no club meetings at the library
• The Multipurpose Room and bathroom are currently closed to the public
• The library will operate at 50% capacity. If the library reaches its capacity limit, additional patrons who would like to enter the library will be asked to wait outside.

We will also begin accepting book donations of books published between 2014-present which are in good condition. We still have very limited storage for donated books, so please inquire before donating.
