Cheney Library Remaining Closed Until April 19, 2020

After discussion among our trustees, it has been decided that Cheney Library will remain closed until April 19, 2020. On April 19, we will reevaluate our situation once again. We will continue to provide updates via email and on our website, www.cheneylibrary.org.

Please remember:

  • Our WiFi will remain active and will be accessible 24/7 from our parking area.

  • Upper Hudson Library System has compiled a list of Resources for Library Users During the COVID-19 Outbreak. It includes many ways to read, listen, view, and play while libraries are closed.

  • We ask that you refrain from returning books while the library is closed. We are a fine-free library, and will waive all late fees that occur as a result of our closure.

  • Please do not call the library to renew books. The phones will not be monitored for those purposes at this time.

  • We are not accepting book donations at this time. Please do not leave donations in the book drop or outside the library building.

  • Many Upper Hudson libraries have made the decision to close. Please see this document for up-to-date information regarding closures.

  • Downloadable eBooks, magazines, and audiobooks are available through OverDrive.

Thank you once again for your support and understanding. If you have any questions or concerns please email Library Director Sara Yetto at [email protected].
