Cheney Library Reopening For Limited Patron Access Inside the Library Building Beginning March 22, 2021

Starting Monday, March 22, 2021, Cheney Library will be open for limited patron access inside the library building. We have adopted the following guidelines in order to ensure patron and staff safety within the library. These guidelines will be in place until further notice:

  • A mask must be worn at all times on library premises
  • Social distancing practices will be enforced
  • Patron visits will be limited to 20 minutes (transaction only)
  • 3 public computers will be available for patron use
  • Librarians will facilitate copy/fax services. If you need to fax or make photocopies, please ask a librarian for assistance
  • Returns will be accepted via book drop only. All materials will be quarantined for 7 days before they are checked in
  • There will be no in-person programming or club meetings at the library
  • The Multipurpose Room and bathroom are currently closed to the public
  • The library will operate at 50% capacity with our current temporary limited hours. If the library reaches its capacity limit, additional patrons who would like to enter the library will be asked to wait outside
  • We will not be resuming book sales or accepting book donations at this time

  • Our WiFi will remain active and will be accessible 24/7 from our parking area.
     
  • We will continue to offer take-home activities and virtual programs.

Friday 10AM – 2PM
Saturday 10AM – 2PM
Sunday Closed
