Another great Tuesday afternoon for 24 children who came to learn about burrowers. A follow-up look was taken on the worm farms. Everyone had a great time. 

 

 

The second event took place in the evening when the Library welcomed local Historian Mike Russert. 

40 people attended and learned about the author Michael Shaara and his book  Killer Angels. The theme of the evening was The Battle of Gettysburg and Michael Shaara’s account of it. Mr. Russert spoke about  the connection of  Hoosick Falls and its recruits in the war. Everyone gained new insight and the Cheney Library thanks Mike Russert greatly.
